A simple but delicious dessert, made from beautiful, wholefood ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 large green apples

  • 1/4 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp Changing Habits Cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp plain coconut yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat air-fryer to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Cut both apples directly across the middle (not down).

  3. Scoop out the core of each half and place in the air-fryer and cook for 15 minutes.

  4. While the apples are in the air-fryer, place the macadamias, shredded coconut and cinnamon in a food processor and blitz for a few seconds, but leave as a fairly chunky texture.

  5. Remove the apples from the air-fryer. Divide the crumble mixture and place on top of each half apple.

  6. Return the apples to the air-fryer and cook for a further 3-4 minutes or until the crumble begins to brown.

  7. Remove and serve onto two plates with the coconut yoghurt on the side.

  8. Drizzle with maple syrup.
