This chocolate frosting is super simple, totally delicious, and it's dairy and refined sugar free. It's the perfect treat when you want something sweet but a little more wholesome.

Ingredients

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
    • 1/2 cup coconut milk
    • 1/4 cup Changing Habits Rapadura Sugar

    • pinch Changing Habits Seaweed Salt

    • 1 cup almond meal
    • 1/2 cup coconut flour
    • 1/2 cup Changing Habits Cacao Powder

    • 1 can Coconut cream (refrigerated overnight)

    • 1/4 cup Changing Habits Cacao Powder

    • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
    • 1 tbsp Changing Habits Rapadura Sugar

    Directions

      1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356F)
      2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, coconut milk and rapadura sugar.

      3. Add the remaining cake ingredients and stir well.

      4. Pour the mixture into a cake tin lined with baking paper and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until cooked through.

      5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before adding the frosting.

      1. Place all frosting ingredients in a food processor and blend on high for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth, light and fluffy.
      2. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake.

      3. Store in the refrigerator.
